I came across your website and realised who it is that is currently feeding the taxpayers alliance their mouth full of BS about GPs profiteering , the greedy opportunists! -pot, kettle-black!!! are you like Matthew(elliot) a privately educated snob setting out to dismantle the NHS and ensure only the rich privileged few have access to quality health care? Your "businesses" couldn't possibly stand to benefit from private public partnerships in the nhs,are you a millionaire yet or just pinning your flag to the TPA mast in the hope of becoming one??? must say you bunch of elitist blue noses are currently managing to pass your selves off as "ordinary tax payers" in the press. I do have faith however that although us underprivileged masses didn't all enjoy private education we can see through people like you. Even though you cannot follow your own mantras on TRANSPARENCY!

RubDMC will of course be aware that the US is far from a free market healthcare system. I have no doubt that like you, he understands that the US state funded healthcare systems - Medicare and Medicaid - have historically aborbed more tax money as a percentage of GDP than Britian's NHS. While on average the NHS has taken an average of 6% of GDP, US state healthcare has taken 7%. If only Europeans understood one of your key messages Helen. So much of US healthcare is not private. As with Britian the state is massive and a disaster.

Its worth noting that NHS Foundation Trusts did quite well.
